To the family of James Beall,

My affiliation with Bethesda Missionary/ Bethesda Christian Church began 36 years ago while the church was still on Van Dyke in the city of Detroit. However, it is in recent years that I experienced a special connection to Pastor James Beall--around his fondness for the carrot cakes that I bake. His quick wit and gregarious personality will be greatly missed.

To Sister Anne Beall and family, may God strengthen you and greatly bless you all during your time of bereavement.

"Brother Jim", as he was known by most of us, was a fine example to pastors and ministers the world over. We are grateful for the many years he fed us the Word of God. We will miss him. We are thankful for the gift of ministry that was in him. He fulfilled his ministry faithfully as a preacher, pastor and a wonderful teacher and leader. Pastors Dan and Ruth Mastro and the Congregation of JOY COMMUNITY CHURCH will be remembering the family in our prayers.

Dear Family of Pastor Jim,

I (we) have so many fond memories of our years at Bethesda Missionary Temple. Brother Jim, Brother Harry and Sister Pat were so wonderful to know. Brother Jim was one of the 'very' best teachers of The Word. My husband Don thought the world of him...Don died last September 20th.

Sister Anne, I know only too well how you will miss Pastor Jim!! Having been married to Don for over 55 years, the loss is heavy. However,

I am very sorry and sad to hear about the loss of Pastor Jim. Pastor Jim was a great and honorable man who always expressed his kindness and love to everyone. Pastor Jim was true man of God who knew and followed God's word.

Pastor very much helped me in may ways throughout my life. I will always remember Pastor Jim as he has a special memory in my heart.

My prayers and sympathy are with the Beall family during this loss and difficult time.

God Bless,

Debbie Nunn

To our Dear Pastors and their families,
The memories are to many to count, picnics, conventions, prayer times we miss Bro. Jim already! We know we will be together soon but until that time we pray for peace and strength for all of you the family. So much wisdom and love in one man is only possible because of the Spirit of God that is resident in our dear leader, Pastor James Beall. Our prayers are with you all.

I was very saddened to hear of the passing of this wonderful man of God. He was my spiritual leader for many years. I always was inspired by his words of wisdom and encouragement during his many sermons and conversations we had over the years. Introduced to him by my father, David, and my grandmother, Edith Lau, I was led to the Lord by the church and it's many ministries. I will be so ever grateful to have known this

It was the great privilege of my husband, Rev. James Alister and I, to be counted as friends of the marvelous Beall family. So many loving memories of all of your loyal support of us in the early struggling days of our ministry. Please accept my most sincere condolences and also from my son, Stephen McAlister. We are the only two surviving members of our family. Love you much. I remember especially the kind generosity of Rev, James Beall, and
