Sue and Family,
Tony's life defined the words love, giving, compassion, faith, and understanding. His legacy continues in his family and the so many friendships that he nurtured over the years. I have been truly blessed to call him my Brother Knight and my friend. We will miss him.

I was so surprised and saddened to hear that Tony had passed away. As several others have said, I worked directly with Tony at GM from Troy, through Pontiac and finally to the Cadillac bludgeon in Warren. He was never anything but a fun loving, hard working gentleman. I purely enjoyed working with him on many projects. Many of us decided to retire at the same time and I was surprised that Tony decided to go also, thinking about how he was several years younger than us. In retrospect, I knew how much he loved his work with the Kights of Columbus and that his time would be spent serving others, as was his first love. I am sorry for your loss and please know that he is sorely missed.

Sue and family,
My condolences to you on your loss. May wonderful memories comfort you.
I worked with Tony for many years at GM. He brought his whole self to work every day and had such a warm and engaging style. He brought such joy to work that it spread to those of us around him who were lucky enough to work with him. He organized tame Fridaysbor coney days at work and really created such comraderie. The first time I ever tried a tamale was one of these Fridays! He was smart and tenacious as well. We are blessed to have known and worked with Tony.
He always held his family close and I recall many conversations about his family. He cherished you all.

I was so sorry to hear from the Abruzzese calling post that Tony had passed away. Daughter of Angiolina Troiani Melonio, our parents were the best of friends both in Ripa Italy and after we immigrated to US/Canada. Tony had a joie de vivre that is rarely seen and impossible to forget. My mother and I hold him and your family in our hearts and in our prayers. God bless you and your beautiful family.

So sorry to hear this sad news of Tonys passing. I planned to visit him the day after new years after meeting you in the cafeteria at the hospital. That wasn't to be.
Praying for you and your family.

I pray the Lord will comfort the family of Tony during this time of great sadness. I was proud to know Tony and work with him at General Motors. I have many fond memories of him. We worked together in both Detroit (Cadillac) and Flint (BOC). While we were in Flint we completed a fundraiser for a fellow co-worker whose grandson suffered from a terrible burn. Tony had a true heart of giving and he dearly loved his family.

There are some people that you just love to be around because they lift you up with their enthusiasm and warm your soul with their kind heart. Tony was one of those people. I met Tony through The Knights of Columbus and enjoyed every visit with him. I have fond memories of golfing with and for Tony. We have lost a great man. How sad to hear today about Tony's passing. It seemed he only just retired from GM where I had the great pleasure of working with him. My clearest recollection of Tony was in his role as the "Facilities Guy" for the Purchasing Group, for many - a thankless task, yet he took it on with a certain and constant positive vigor - always ready and willing to listen and help - and always accompanied by his smile. A great guy. He will be sorely missed. Sympathy and Blessings to his family. May his soul rest in peace.

Tony, was kind hearted and always willing to help anyone at anytime. Fondest memory is when Tony took me under his wing when I was a District Deputy and treated me like part of his family. He will be missed.

Tony was one of the first people I met when I came to the Tech Center in Warren from the Pontiac Metal Fab. I remember Tony as one of the most helpful people I have met and one of the hardest working. Definitely a heart of gold. I was sad to see him retire and even more sad to hear of his passing at such a young age. I pray for his family left behind with the assurance that he is going to a better place.

Tony was always the first to volunteer for any activity at GM that brought people together. He helped organize picnics, bowling outings, and did it with such passion that everyone had a good time. I've missed seeing him at work, and was very saddened today to hear that his retirement was cut short. RIP my friend.
