Condolence & Memory Journal

I want to tell you all how sorry I am to hear of the loss of your mother. I have the best memories of Aunt Marilyn lining up slices of bread to make 10 or more sandwiches for everyone, Christmas Eve's at your home and Bledsoe picnics every summer. What still impresses me about your mother was her gentle spirit. She was always kind and full of grace. Wishing I could have been at her service to say good-bye and see you all again. Love to you all, Paula and Dave

Dear Cathy, Steve and all the Family:
Lynn and I send our sincere condolences in the passing of Cathy's Mom Marilyn.
We plan to attend her services tomorrow. If we are not there it will be because of weather or an unavoidable circumstance.
Please extend our sympathy to all of Cathy's family as well.

I was just a little girl. One of my earliest and most pivotal memories of your sweet mother was our trips to your house in your Redford neighborhood when, I guess, my mom, would just need a warm moment with her lil sister and pack us all up in the car and drive her brood over to your house. I was always shy and quiet, but I remember watching our two dear mothers sitting in your kitchen catching up, laughing, comparing notes, talking about our fathers, and really feeling heard by each other. The best part of my memories was that, everywhere else in the house it was pure chaos, but when I sat watching them chatter, it was like they were alone in the universe- nothing distracted them from their love for each other. I hoped I would grow up to be just like them someday. ( they clearly had better concentration skills than I will ever have!). You are all in my thoughts. So miss that chaos!
Love
Janice

Dear sweet Marilyn. Loved living next to the Bledsoes growing up. Marilyn was such a soft spoken, kind woman who always had a smile on her face. So many great memories. Peace and comfort to the family during this time.

Marilyn was a beautiful saint. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word. We enjoyed sharing books and insights about the Lord when we had a chance to visit. She love her kids and grandkids and always had a fun story to share. We know she is at peace and we pray for the family at this time. May peace and comfort be yours.
