Walter proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and retired from Wonder Bread after 39 years of dedicated service. He was a longtime member and an usher at Trinity Episcopal Church in St. Clair Shores and enjoyed playing cards and the lottery and cheering for the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings. More than anything else he especially loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends. Visitation Friday 3-9pm. Uncle Walter will be truly missed. When I think of him it brings back fond memories as a loving husband, father and uncle. He was kind and would help whenever asked, he was not only an uncle, but a friend that you could easily have a conversation with on any topic, many times with a twist of humor. He will always be remembered with cherished memories and love.

I have many fond memories of the good times we had at birthday parties or at the holidays. Great food, company, lots of laughter and fun times playing poker. Where's the lucky washer?

Rest in peace, Wally.

Marian, Keith and Sandy, Edie and I would like to extend our condolences with the passing of Walt. I remember fondly of working on your house on Port. I think I set a record for eating Twinkies and cup cakes. I use to enjoy seeing Walt at the barber shop and shooting the breeze with him. Walt and you will be in our prayers.
