Bright-eyed and smiling, Dean's sweetness and positive energy were contagious. Grateful for the opportunity to have met him, along with his attentive, loving, and equally positive parents. Praying that peace and love surround and lift you -- so very sorry for your loss. -- Maryanne MacLeod, senior media relations coordinator, Beaumont Health.

I'm am so deeply sorry to hear of Deans passing. He was such a bright and happy child with an infectious smile. He always had a story or joke to tell during interventions or coming into the office that I would look forward to. Everyone morning when the family would be coming to school and Ms. B seen him coming and he knew Deanie would be loudly announced as he crossed the street with that big grin on his face, will forever stay in our hearts.

Dear Hardin Family,
I am heartbroken to hear of Dean's passing. He was such a smart, sweet, funny, and kind student. I loved being his Kindergarten teacher and will always remember his beautiful smile and positive attitude. Dean was such a gift to everyone who had the honor and privilege of knowing him. Loved Ones of Dean,

We are so deeply saddened to hear of Deans passing. My son, Michael Christensen, has been in the same class as Dean since preschool. He has considered Dean as one of his best friends since the day they met. As a parent just observing, it was so apparent to see what an amazing little boy you were blessed with. He was always smiling and his energy was contagious. He truly made the world just a little sweeter with his presence. Michael will forever cherish his memories with Dean as will I and the joy he brought to Michael.

Our Deepest Sympathy.

We are so sorry to hear of Dean's passing. It's been a pleasure hearing stories of Dean over the last couple of years as he and our son Matthew were friends. Matthew will forever remember Dean as a kind, caring, fun and energetic spirit. We are thinking of you and our hearts are with you during this time.

Dear Hardin Family, Words cannot express how heartbroken I am to hear the news of Dean's passing. He will forever be in my memory as the bright-eyed, fun-loving, big-hearted, always smiling first grader I had in my class last year. It's hard to process that one so full of life is no longer with us. Your Greenwood family is with you during this difficult time.

As a teacher at his school, I noticed right away at how bright-eyed and curious Dean was. His laughter was constant and his smile was welcomed by anyone who met him. Dean was a blessing in so many lives. We are all saddened at Greenwood to know he is gone. God knew this world needed Dean and we are forever changed because of him. Blessings and peace to the family. I know your hearts are forever changed.
