Irene was a classy, quiet lady. I knew her and Andy well from the White Heather Club and also from Jack Wallace dances in Berkley. I am pleased that I was able to celebrate her 90th birthday last year, both at the Commonwealth Club and the St. Andrew's Kilgour Scottish Centre. Andy has welcomed her home and holding her in his arms dancing. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her and may she rest in peace. Amen. My sincere condolences to Jeannette, Margie and their families.

Our friendship with Irene goes back forty or fifty years. We spent many happy times with her and Andy dancing at the Scottish Clubs and social gatherings.
In latter years, after Andy's passing, we would pick up her and Nessie every Friday and take them to the Commonwealth Club for Fish & Chips, or an occasional Meat Pie Dinner at St. Andrew's Society. Irene looked forward to that every week as she knew so many people there and reminisced about old times.
We will miss her very much but know that she is in Andy's arms dancing.
Our sincere codolences to Jeanette, Margie and their families.

My mother and Mrs. Tait worked together at Federal's Department store at the Shores shopping center for many years. When the "Federal's gang" would get together for a wedding, or any celebration, they always had so much fun. In later years, the women would get together often for lunch somewhere. I believe Mrs. Tait was the last one to pass on of that fun group. Mrs. Tait was always a very proper, well-dressed, distinguished woman who was always smiling. She is now with her husband and all the gang once again! My sincere condolences go to the entire family. I am sure she will be terribly missed.
