Condolence & Memory Journal

I met Tony through his sales represent Katie Alice at Suburban Lifestyles years ago, when doing a business story about Sharon's. I have since done numerous stories about the stores and interviewed him. He was always so enthusiastic about the Rochester community and so passionate about giving back. He delighted in offering unique Rochester products. He really cared about his customers, craft and community! When my children were young and I wrote about the Webkinz craze, Tony would always give me the inside scoop about the new Webkinz coming out and hold some aside. He was a delightful man and dedicated humanitarian. It was an honor and genuine pleasure to write about him and his careee, which truly made a difference in so many lives. So very sorry for your loss. His name will live on forever in our hearts and in the community he loved so well.

I just learned of Tony's passing today,June 8, when I stopped into the store to purchase graduation cards. I was shocked and saddened, and would have certainly have attended memorial services had I known. Tony was sick a good guy, a terrific Rochester businessman and a caring guy. He and I would talk about the newest Hallmark ornaments, retailing and the automotive industry. We'd reminisce of the earlier days when our sons (Dillon and Mark) played Rochester Soccer together. Tony will be missed by many, many friends and customers.
