Condolence & Memory Journal

My heart goes out to Jan's family. She was a remarkable woman and I am grateful that I had the opportunity to know her. The impact she had on HAVEN, those who we serve, and me personally was incredible and will never be forgotten. She was a gift to me in my first few months and I feel so blessed that I got to share her with you for a short while. Sending you all lots of love.

To John and all of Jan's family, thank you so much for sharing her with me and all the children and survivors she helped while volunteering in the Resource Room at HAVEN. Her one day a week soon be came two and often three over the last year. Please know that we all loved her. She is missed.

My dearest sister in Christ, you have left us far to early knowing you were going to be a grandmother for the first time. How happy you were about the future!! We don't understand why things happen the way they do. But our Faith and Trust in our Lord and Savior reminds us how quickly time goes by and how short a time we ALL HAVE. Rest peacefully in Our heavenly Father's arms. We will be United on day, when He calls us, too. You will be missed...

I very much enjoyed my interactions with Jan as a member of the Haven HR Committee. Her commitment to Haven, along with her love of her family stood out to me. She will be missed by many.

Jan was one of my mentors at Kelly. She was more than that to me, she was my friend. She would make me laugh in situations that required us to be totally professional. I can honestly say my heart is broken.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I love you Jan. Godspeed..

Words cannot describe how I feel right now. I am so very very grateful we met and were able to spend these many years together although I wish with all my heart that there could have been more. . I was very very privileged to have been able to help her through her struggles the past couple months and to have been with her when she passed. Her struggles were my struggles. Life will never be the same. Life is precious.

Janet was a beautiful, former colleague of mine from Kelly Services whom I thought so highly of and respected. She truly was an advocate for helping others in whatever capacity that person needed, and I shall always be grateful to her for her networking abilities and knowledge. God Bless your entire family during this trying time, and know that she is in my thoughts and prayers.

Jan was a truly wonderful friend and co-worker - she was so bright, always energetic, and always making everything fun. I truly adored her, enjoyed working with her, and envied keeping up with her latest adventures in retirement. Jan, you will truly be missed. xoxo

Although I never had the opportunity to meet Janet, I have the joy of being Michelle's friend in DC. It's hard to live away from family in these dark days but I promise the Vermeulen family her DC family will wrap her, Jarrett, and Nolan in love. Our sincere sympathies and we hope Janet's love and memories will carry you through your best and worst days.

Jan was a popular member of the WTW health & benefits team. One of the memories I most have of her was our "water cooler" conversation - she was a proud and concerned mother and a great person. She will be very much missed.

Janet is my dearest and oldest friend, I have a-lot of wonderful memories of our childhood, playing jacks, nock hockey, learning new line dances in the garage, so we could be cool at our High School Dance. Sharing in our Children' s milestone events, never missing a happy birthday phone call, snd all of those wonderful dinners and lunches we shared together reminiscing and catching up. I will miss you very much my dear friend.
