FRANCIS, Norman Joseph. May 19, 2019. Age 96. Beloved husband of the late Genevieve. Loving father of Joseph Francis (Cathy), Judith Vereecke (Lawrence), Nancy Tank (Gregory), Thomas Francis (Theresa), Michael Francis (Sandra), Kenneth Francis (Christie), Paul Francis (Kathy), Andrew Francis (Jenny) and the late Mary Louise Francis. Proud and loving grandfather of 52 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Norman proudly served in the Navy during World War II and worked for the Archdiocese of Detroit for 40 years. Visitation Wednesday 3-9pm with a 7pm Rosary at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Instate Thursday 9am until time of 9:30am Mass at St. Louise de Marillac Catholic Church, 2500 12 Mile Rd. (between Dequindre and Ryan), Warren. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township. I'll never forget how wonderful my Uncle Joe made me feel. He had a smile that lit up the room and was always so genuinely happy to see me. He just demonstrated love in all he did. He will not be forgotten.
