Condolence & Memory Journal

I have fond memories of Aunt Doris and Uncle Art. They were true representation of love. They never failed to visit when they were near. Aunt Doris always would tell me to look and act your best because you never knew when you would meet an Angel or be called home.
Such a beautiful lady.

We had the pleasure and blessing of having Doris and Art as our neighbors for 28 short years. They were the most loving, caring and thoughtful people we knew. We lived directly behind them and had a pool and every time our family was coming over with the grandchildren, I would call Doris to warn her and invite them to partake in our family gathering. But she would laugh and say her and Art loved to sit on their back porch when the kids were here, just so they could hear them laugh and have fun. She said it was music to their ears! When summer came along, she would always share fresh-picked strawberries or peaches with us. After Art passed, we would still see Doris in her backyard every day, tending to her gardens and singing along the way. She was truly a gift from above and will always be remembered. Rest In Peace, sweet Doris, we know you're happy to be with our Lord and your husband, whom you missed so much!
