Tribute & Message From The Family

OSBORNE, Bernice. Passed away peacefully on July 16, 2019 at the age of 91, surrounded by the people she loved more than anything in the world. Loving mother of Laura (Steve) Nikkel. Treasured grandmother of Stevie (Renee), Chad (Jennifer), and Katie. Proud and adored great grandmother of Kenzie, Abby, Clint, Weston, and Brookes. Dear sister of Edward Ochylski, Evelyn Nejmanowski, Diana Hennigan, and Leonard (Celeste) Ochylski. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Bernice had such an impact on all she met during her time with us. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, warmth, genuineness, and most importantly, her unwavering love for her family. She always made it a point to make everyone feel special by engaging in conversation and making sure everyone was heard, learned something and felt valuable. She enjoyed traveling, golf, gambling, keeping track of the stock market, dancing the polka, and politics. The Nikkel family wishes to thank all of Bernice's many friends and relatives for their prayers and support during this difficult time. Visitation Sunday 2-6pm with a 5pm Rosary at Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons Inc., (Shelby) 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd. Good memories of Aunt Bernice. I'm remembering trip to Hannibal, Missouri with Aunt Bernice, Laura, Lynn, Aunt Diana and others and the summer of my 15th year at Aunt Bernice's house. May Laura and all the family enjoy comforting memories and have contentment and courage to face the days ahead. Rest In Peace, Aunt Bernice. Love, Jackie
