Bill, Greg, and Brad sending our sincere sympathy. This is a wonderful and loving tribute on this site. We always admired Karen for her gift of selflessness in so many different ways. She touched many lives in such a positive way. Wishing Hod's peace to your families.

We are so sad that we will not be able to attend the memorial service. Take comfort in knowing that Karen is in God's care and has finally escaped the miseries of this life. She led a remarkable life and was the first of our family to attend a university -- my inspiration to follow in her footsteps. She did so much for so many people during her wonderful life -- the Christian example. This temporary separation is a sad time, but God will provide peace and strength to continue in a productive life until our release comes. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We hope to be able to come to Michigan to visit within the next year. It has been too long since we have made that journey!

Our family, John, Ann and Rebecca Damm will always remember Karen as she coached Grosse Pointe North's Girls tennis team through 1992. She was a great mentor and inspiration for the young women in her care. We still have one of the sweat shirts she monagrammed for the whole team. Our prayers go out to the family. Ann Damm

Greg, I read of your mothers passing this morning in the paper. Having been through these sad situations many times myself I certainly empathize with you and your family. My thoughts are with you.
