I am sorry for your family's loss. Dennis will be remembered as a man who cared deeply for his family; taking caring for his Mom for many years, hosting family holidays, and providing for his children and grandchildren. I will miss him very much. Wishing the entire VanSteenkiste Family peace.

Dennis was a great man and all around awesome guy. I had the pleasure of working with him and was lucky enough to spend some quality time with him on the golf course over the years. It was always a good time when Dennis was involved. He will be missed. Rest In Peace Dennis

I worked with Dennis at SCU and we became partners and friends, fellow buffaloes. I will miss him but I know that he is free of the pain. R. I. P. My friend

I worked with Dennis in the Detroit Police Department Sex Crimes Unit for several years. He was a great investigator, friend and colleague. On a lighter note, he always looked like a model from Gentlemen's Quarterly!Dressed very well. He will be missed.

Dennis was a friend and colleague from the Detroit Police Department, and after retirement, worked with me other retirees, at the Special Investigative Unit of Travelers Insurance. He was always knowledgeable, professional and well liked by all. A well respected and good man.
