Condolence & Memory Journal

My sincere sympathy to the family. I had Mr. Mandziara for Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II. Such fun to be in his class and a very sincere teacher. I, too, was a member of the Class of 65 where he was our class sponsor. Thanks for the many memories, Mr Mandziara. I'm sorry I couldn't make visitation for you.

Thanks Coach for all of the lessons and memories from some of the best times of my life. The pizza parties after Sunday practice were outstanding. Thanks for guiding us and requiring us to always show respect to each other and opponents. You were the reason I went back and coached at Center Line. Thanks again you will always hold a special place in my life. RIP.

My sympathies to the Mandziara family. I had the privilege of playing on Coach Mandziara's first basketball team he coached at Center Line High School in 1979. Mr. Mandziara was a wonderful Teacher, Coach and Mentor. Anyone who had any contact with Coach was a better person because of it. He brought out the best in everyone, whether it was in the classroom or on the court. "A shining light has been extinguished, which can not be replaced". R.I.P. Coach

I never got to tell him how much of an impact he had on my life. I have had a 30 year career in software because of Mr. Mandziara. The one teacher from both high school and college that left a life long impression on me. My first introduction to computers was because of him and I will be forever thankful. He created a passion in me, pushed me, and showed me the future back in 1981 and 1982. His candid feedback, direct no BS advice about what would matter in life left an impression on me that pushed me and drove me every year post graduation. He was my first business mentor and he never knew it.... Mr. Mandziara please continue teaching math and computers in heaven. God Bless You!!

This man will live on not only through his family, but through the influence he has had on so many of his students and players over his profound teaching and coaching career. My memories of him as my coach and teacher are strong still to this day (over 30+ years). Those memories find their way into stories I tell my students, players and my own children. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and truly with all of us who have been blessed to feel the impact of his influence. We are all better people because of the lessons he taught us. He will be missed.

Paul was our Center Line Class of '65 sponsor but I met him first as a child as my cousin George Gryzenia's best buddy ! He was also a respected coach and teacher of my ex-husband Chuck Gerlach (passed 2016). May all good memories sustain you through this sorrowful time.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Mandziara and his family. I had Mr. Mandziara for my first computer class at Center Line High School and he would always give us a heads up if there were any problems getting connected by phone modem to Macomb Community College computer system. He was a great teacher that will be missed and I am sure the family has many great memories that will live on for I know that I do. I used to see Mr. Mandziara teaching student drivers driving down my old street Helen and my neighbor's brother was married to Mr. Mandziara's sister. Mr. Mandziara will live on through his family. God Bless!
