On Monday, February 24, 2020, Robert "Bob" Morgan passed away peacefully at home in Almont, Michigan at the age of 99.

Bob was born on November 16, 1920 on Drummond Island, Michigan to William J. and Grace (Ricketts) Morgan, the third of six sons. Bob joined the service during WWII with his brothers Frank, Howard and Sebe, serving as the pilot of a B-24 Bomber and flew missions out of North Africa and Italy. On March 1, 1944 he married Florence Elizabeth Crary. They raised two sons Robert, Jr. (Bob) and Richard (Dick) and daughter Linda. After his discharge from the Army Air Force as a 1st Lieutenant, he attended Central Michigan University graduating with honors in 1950. Bob worked in public school administration retiring as Assistant Superintendent of Business at South Lake School District in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. After retirement, he joined with other business and social contacts to develop a community "on the mountain" in Unicoi, Tennessee.

Bob enjoyed golf, playing cards, reading and watching sports on tv. He and his wife Flossie also enjoyed square dancing while living in Tennessee and spent winters first in south Texas and later in Pinellas Park, Florida. He was known for his quiet kindness and dedication to family. He touched so many lives and gave so many gifts to family and others. He was a remarkable person.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife Florence, brothers Franklin, Howard, Ralph and Dale. He is survived by his brother Sebe Morgan, children Robert Jr. (Fran d 2005), Richard (Judith) and Linda Baranska (Dennis), grandchildren Scott, Steve, Derrick, Richard, Amy, Heather, Kristen, Jennifer and Matthew and 18 great grandchildren. Visitation Saturday, February 29th 1:00pm at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd until service, 2:00pm. Interment Wednesday, March 4th 10:00am at Great Lakes national Cemetery.
