DOBEK, Adolph "John". December 1, 2017. Age 95. Beloved husband of the late Genevieve "Jean". Loving father of Shirley Osplaski (James), Patricia Dudek (James) Thomas Dobek (the late Leigh) and the late James Dobek (Agnes Dyer). Also survived by 9 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Mr. Dobek proudly served as a bombardier in the United States Air Corps during WWII. He was shot down during the first raid on Berlin and was a P.O.W. for 15 months. Visitation Wednesday 3-9pm with an 8:15pm Rosary at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Instate Thursday 10am until time of 10:30am Mass at St. Faustina Catholic Church, 14025 12 Mile Rd. (E. of Schoenherr), Warren. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Twp.
