SZYDLOWSKI, Allan R. March 14, 2018. Age 74. Beloved husband of Carol (nee: Stachowski) for 51 years. Loving father of David Szydlowski (Christina Maher), Mark Szydlowski (Dione) and Sandy Schutzler (Matt). Proud and loving Papa of Michael, Jacqueline (Brad), Christina, Joseph, Julia, Caroline, Allan, Allison and Jack and great-grandfather of a precious baby to be born in June. Predeceased by his loving parents Stanley and Clara and his brother Ronald. Allan fought insurmountable odds for 30 years and was referred to as a "medical miracle" by most doctors; he endured a liver transplant, 2 kidney transplants, the removal of his colon, 2 quadruple bypasses, 2 strokes and an abdominal resection. His greatest joy in the life he fought so hard to maintain was his family. Visitation Thursday, March 22 from 3-9pm with a Scripture Service at 7:00pm The family will gather to receive guests Friday, March 23 from 9:30am until the time of the 10am memorial Mass at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 54045 Schoenherr (S. of 25 Mile Rd.), Shelby Twp.
