WOLFF, ARNOLD R. of Clinton Township died peacefully Friday, August 23, 2019, with his loving wife by his side.
Arnold was born in Detroit, MI. He attended Saint Joseph High school and graduated from the University of Detroit with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. After graduation, Arnold served two years in the Army. Arnold spent most of his career working within the City of Detroit's Community and Economic Development Department.
Arnold diligently read the New York Times and made it a point to mail articles to his granddaughters when there was a sentiment he wanted to share. He loved to travel; whether it was on safari in Kenya or exploring the streets of Beijing.
Arnold was passionate about history, politics and Detroit. He never lost an opportunity to speak about the systematic injustices he witnessed in our society and he lived every day of his life trying to eradicate those injustices. His energy and passion will be very much missed.
Arnold is survived by his wife Shirley, daughters Jean Wolff (Josef Krebs) and Leslie LeBow (Scott LeBow), his three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Clarice and Tala and many nieces and a nephew. He is preceded in death by his daughter Bridget Wolff. Funeral Tuesday Instate 11:30 am at St. Paul of Tarsus Church 41300 Romeo Plank at Canal until time of Mass at 12:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Arnold's name to Doctors Without Borders or the ACLU. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Share memories with the family at their "On Line Guest BooK" @ WujekCalcaterra.com
