Caroline Lucille Przywara (Sept 15, 1922-July 5, 2018). Age 95. Wife of (late) Andrew. She was the beloved mother of Helen Olson, Andrew Price, and Judy (Joe) Knofczynski, and the adored Grandma of Deanna, Nicole, Elyse, Ted and 7 great grandchildren. Longtime resident of Warren MI.
Carol worked for the Warren post office for 25 years and enjoyed lasting friendships with her co-workers. In the 1990's, she joined the Daughters of Isabella as a volunteer holding the posts of secretary, treasurer, and eventually Vice Regent and Regent of the St. Anne chapter. Well into her late 80's, she joined the Warren Garden Club "to give herself something to do".
Carol had many interests. She was a beautiful and precise seamstress. She loved to garden, cook, knit, and crochet. As the strong Polish matriarch of our family, she exemplified lofty ideals ... the value of doing things right, independent and progressive thought, social and political savviness, careful planning for the future, treating people with respect and dignity, demanding excellence from ourselves, and the nurturing of enduring friendships. She also taught us the practical… the value of being on time, being thrifty, putting together a good dinner, wearing warm boots, keeping a clean home, and always walking out the door looking put together.
