Zane, EdwardFebruary 11, 2017. Age 93. Beloved husband of the late Natalie (nee Walczak). Dearest father of James (Patricia) Zane, Barbara (Mark) DeVos, Catherine Turkus, Monica (Brad) TenHopen, Mary Zane & Diane (Mark) Wrobel. Loving grandfather of Elizabeth (Joseph Ferdinard), Laura (Brent Coles), Kyle, Nicole, Mackenzie & Addison. Edward was preceded in death by his parents Joseph & Kathryn (nee Pytlak) and his brothers Stanley & Bruno. Ed, a proud Army Veteran of WWII, retired from the IRS after a 30 year career. He was an active church member at St. Mark Church. In his younger years, he could polka all night long. He was a diehard football fan, he knew his stuff! No more stories, no more pieces of candy, but lots of great memories. Memorial visitation Friday 3-9pm at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Memorial Gathering Saturday 10:30am until 11:00am time of Memorial Mass at St. Mark Church, 4401 Bart (between 9 & 10 Mile, E.of Ryan).
