BUBEN, George. April 18, 2017. Age 91. Beloved husband of Madeline Buben (nee Blaess) for 51 cherished years. Loving father of Zandra Cardenas. Proud and adored grandfather of Rebecca (Richard) Wallace Nemec, Shawn Wallace and Michael (Cathy) Cardenas. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. George is fondly remembered for his sense of humor and love of tennis and table tennis. He was the last survivor of 11 siblings and keeper of family trees for the Buben/Bubin & Blaess families. He played on the table tennis team for "Ping Pong Diplomacy" in China in 1971. A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, April 29th from 10am until his 11am Memorial Service at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons Inc., (Sterling Heights) 36900 Schoenherr Rd at Metro Parkway (16 Mile).
