HESSLING, Kenneth J. "Ken". January 8, 2018. Age 82. Beloved husband of Veronica "Ronnie" (nee: Daley) for 55 years. Loving father of Kim Lechner (Jim), Kathy Pyden (Al), Carolyn Szajner (Derek) and Coleen Rzeppa (Doug). Proud and loving Grandpa and Papa of Zack, Kevin, Hannah, Kelsey, Marisa, Mikayla, Erica, Dominic and Jessica. Predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Ken was proud to have been born and raised in the "thumb" of Michigan near Harbor Beach; he worked his entire career in the telecommunications industry for 30 years at Michigan Bell followed by 10 years at EDS. Ken was also a proud veteran of the United States Army. More than anything else he loved his family and spending time with them. Visitation Thursday 2-9pm with an 8:45pm Rosary at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mille). Instate Friday 9:30am until time of 10am Mass at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 48115 Schoenherr (N. of 21 Mile Rd.), Shelby Twp. Memorial contributions to the St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association are appreciated.
