McCrackin, William "Kes" Age 84 Dec. 1, 2017. Beloved husband of Mary for 60 years. Loving father of Kevin, Craig(Michelle), Brian(Pam) and Karen(Bill)Stefani. Dearest grandfather of Michelle, Bridget, Mike, Rob, Billy, Gina, Kester and Spencer. Kes will also be missed by his beloved bulldog Bubbles. Kes graduated from Denby High School and Wayne State University in 1956 with a BA in Business and Accounting. He attended the US Navy Officers Candidate School, ascending to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He was Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of MCN Energy Group-the parent company of Michigan Consolidated Gas Company. He served as Chairman of the Board of Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan and Detroit Science Center, board member of Mercy Health Services, United Way and Greater Detroit Chamber of Commerce. Kes was always athletic and his passion for life was only surpassed by his total love and devotion to his family. Funeral Services will be Private.
