MYERS, James "Jim". February 3, 2013. Age 78. Beloved husband of Marie for 54 years. Loving father of James Jr. (Julie), Daniel (Colleen), Steven (Pamela), Ann Marie (Todd) Boothe and Lynda Hamway. Proud and loving Papa of D.J., Krista, Joe, Matt, Lauren, Caroline, James III, Taylor, Tara, Lindsey, Alyssa, Eric, Brett and Andrew. Mr. Myers was proud to serve in the US Army; he was a dedicated Detroit Newspapers employee for 42 years, starting as a paperboy and retiring as the Circulation Director. Visitation Wednesday 2-9pm with a 7pm Scripture service at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 54880 Van Dyke, Shelby Twp. Instate Thursday 9:30am until time of 10am Mass at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1400 Inglewood (S. of Tienken, E. of Rochester Rd.), Rochester. Interment, Guardian Angel Cemetery, Rochester.
